    The Museum’s Director, Joe Sullivan, joined from The Natural History Museum, where he served as London partnerships manager. Previous to this he worked on the Centenary Project at the RAF Museum London along with several other engagements and learning roles at UK museums. He also currently chairs the London Museums Group.

  • Holly Burrows ………… …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… Commercial Manager

    Holly joins us from the House of Illustration, where she spent six years as the Retail and Front of House Manager, prior to which she worked in retail capacities at the Roald Dahl Museum. She has an excellent track record in managing physical and online shops, delivering events, and working with artists.

  • Steve Marchant ………… …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… Learning Officer / Comic Art Curator

    Steve Marchant is the Cartoon Museum’s Learning Coordinator/Tutor and Comic Art Curator. As a cartoonist, he has worked for the BBC, British Airways, ITV, and numerous educational publications. He is also a qualified youth worker/tutor that teaches cartoon art classes in schools, libraries and universities in and around London.

  • Amba Malekin-Goneni ………… …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… Community Engagement Officer

    Having recently graduated from Central Saint Martins after studying Ceramic Design Amba Malekin-Goneni is excited to move from making objects to celebrating them. She has a keen interest in making museums more accessible to a wider audience and will be focusing predominantly on welcoming autistic young people and creating a new mental health project. Having previously been a Young Producer at the National Gallery she has experience creating programs that open collections to a younger and more diverse audience.

    Before joining The Cartoon Museum, Alice was a graphic designer for a multitude of places, such as a brewery (North Brewing Co), a Dutch design studio (The Invisible Party) and an open-air gallery (Yorkshire Sculpture Park). After completing her degree in Huddersfield and working for a year, she moved down to London and became a part of our team. Alongside work, Alice is a student at the Royal College of Art on the Visual Communication MA. She also loves film, pub quizzes and riding her bike!

  • Ray Chadwick ………… …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… Events Officer

    Before joining the Cartoon Museum, Ray worked as a Lifestyle Events Coordinator in the Care Sector. He is excited to work in an environment which shares his passion for drawing. Ray completed his degree at the Manchester School of Art in Fine Art and Art History. Ray is also an artist. His passion for drawing and art has propelled his career to numerous exciting places, including commissions for Grammy Award-winning artists, retail outlets and so on.
